Building a pool on a barrier island is different. High water tables, flood zones, sandy soil and strict borough zoning all shape what's possible.
With 69 years of combined experience between owners Josh Gartner and Mauricio Morales, we handle all of it: design, permits and zoning, pilings and engineering, construction, and the patios and pool houses around it.

245 57th Street, Avalon
A custom gunite pool and spa in Avalon, NJ, taken from design and permits through construction and the finished patio. The 15 x 28 pool has a spillover spa and a sun shelf, sits on engineered pilings, and was laid out to fit an 80 x 110 lot. We finished the deck in MSI porcelain pavers, a durable, low-maintenance surface that holds up well at the Shore.

Yes. We manage the full permit and zoning process with the borough, including surveys, drawings and inspections. We have worked with Avalon, Stone Harbor, Longport and other Shore towns for years.
Can you build a pool on a lot that needs pilings?
Yes. Many barrier island lots have high water tables or soft, sandy soil. We coordinate the engineering and install pilings when a site calls for them, so the pool stays level and sound for decades.
What kind of pools do you build?
Most of our clients choose custom gunite (concrete) pools and spas, because gunite can be shaped to almost any size or layout and holds up well in the coastal environment. We also build fiberglass and vinyl liner pools, which can be a good fit for some mainland properties and budgets.
How long does it take to build a pool?
It depends on the design, the site and how quickly the borough approves permits. We give you a realistic schedule during design and keep you updated through every phase.
Do you also build patios and pool houses?
Yes. We design and build the whole backyard, including paver and stone patios, cabanas, pool houses and outdoor kitchens, so everything works together.
What areas do you serve?
We build pools in Avalon, Stone Harbor, Sea Isle City, Ocean City, Longport, Margate, Ventnor, Cape May and Wildwood Crest, plus nearby towns in Cape May and Atlantic counties.
